I’m single. I’d rather not be. I’m constantly told by my attached friends that “it’ll happen when you’re not looking”. I don’t believe them but, really, I’ve got no evidence either way.
So, for a year, I’ll test out their not-looking theory. If I prove them right, I’ll have found someone. If I prove them wrong, I can finally shut them up. It’s a win-win for me.
Herein lies the record of my experiment.
A worthy mission. Good luck!
Is it wierd I’m signing up?! Saw this via Jen on facebook and love it! Impressed. Cat (Somorjay…Burns… ) – that’s what happens when you look/don’t look and get lucky xx
Attached friends will constantly move the goalposts. When you stay in – you should be getting out there. When you go out and still remain single you should stop looking and it’ll just happen…. I think attached people are the least useful people to get advice from….
Good luck with not looking. Look forward to reading more.
I am hoping you get both of your wishes, somehow. A boy is a good consolation prize for being proved wrong (for once!)…
